As President of Dart Interests Florida, David leads the day-to-day operations for our Florida office. With over 30 years of experience in the real estate development industry, David has served as CEO and as Senior Development Executive for multiple projects, including Disney, the Pritzker Family Business interests and New Broad Street, his own company. David is licensed as both a Broker and Florida Building contractor, and three of his projects have won ULI’s coveted Award for Excellence. David has a degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Emory University. He is an avid fisherman, both onshore and offshore, and weekends often find him stalking giant Tarpon in the backcountry of Florida’s Mosquito Lagoon.
As Senior Vice President of Development and Investments for Dart Interests Florida, Thom is responsible for development and new pursuits in the Florida market. Thom has experience in both residential and commercial development, with a focus on large mixed-use, master-planned communities. Thom started his career in real estate development at CNL, then moved to Crescent Communities to manage the Master Planned Community business in Florida. He is currently a ULI Product Council Member. Thom has an M.B.A. from University of Florida and a degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He resides in Orlando with his wife and boys, spending their free time reading the classics and adventuring outdoors.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Stewart leads the operations and strategy of hospitality investments in the Florida market. Stewart previously worked with Xenia Hotels and Resorts, where he managed the firm’s West Coast portfolio. Prior to that, Stewart was responsible for growing and running the asset management business line in the Caribbean and Latin America for JLL’s Hotels and Hospitality Group. Stewart is currently a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association. He holds a Master of International Business from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. from the University of Virginia. Stewart enjoys vacationing in the Bahamas with his family after having lived there for a period of time.
